Multicutural Executive Development Program
The Multicultural Executive Development Program (MEDP) is a unique program focusing on identifying, developing and retaining senior-level professionals from ethnically and racially diverse backgrounds. The YMCA is obligated to assure that talented individuals, representing the multicultural breadth within the movement, are included in the development of senior leadership. This program will ensure that the movement will have a rich pool of candidates equipped to assume pivotal leadership roles in the future.

YMCA Multicultural Mentoring Program

Then the Multicultural Mentoring Program (MMP) may be right for you! YMCA of the USA is pleased to offer the MMP—a new initiative that pairs YMCA Directors of color with volunteer mentors who are experienced YMCA senior leaders of color.
Mentor-mentee pairs meet periodically, primarily via phone and e-mail, based on availability and need of the mentee. In addition, both mentors and mentees are required to participate in three, one-hour Webinars and teleconferences each year to continue their personal and professional development while connecting with other participants in the program.
